See sounds. Build words. Spark reading.

How Seeing Words works

Through explicit instruction, visual-spatial learning, and hands-on word building, students explore how sounds and letters work together as they build and blend words for themselves.

Reading becomes active, tangible, and memorable - giving learners another way to make sense of words.

  • Makes sounds visible.

  • Turns sounds into words.

  • Makes learning hands on.

  • Builds toward independent reading.

Build the path to reading

Put foundational literacy in their hands

Seeing Words follows a consistent Say, Build, See, Write learning sequence that helps students explore words through sound, sight, movement, and language.

Say

Students say the word and isolate the sounds within it. Slowing spoken words down helps students notice where individual sounds occur and begin connecting what they hear to the letters they see.
